These most famous Chinese sacred mountains located in the province of Anhui, are also named Yellow Mountains. Carved stairs in the stone itself amount to an incredible network of paths, some of which created more than a thousand years ago. Depicted by poets and painters for many centuries, often within clouds, they seem to appear and disappear in front of the visitor in such a way one may think it was just a dream.
